Okyakusama 5 I used this battery to replace the factory one in my 2009 Lexus RX450h (JP model). Total cost was 2/3 of the dealer quote - well worth it IMO. To keep the radio/seat/memory settings, I used this really cheap "battery memory" (batteries not included) https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B001VNRVZW/ , but any 9-12V DC power source will be sufficient while you swap out the battery. It's a bit heavy, so lift it from the base and use your knees (not your back!), and make sure you always disconnect "negative (-)" first, and then disconnect "positive (+)", then pull out the battery, and install the new one in reverse "connect positive (+)" then connect "negative (-)". Do every step slowly to ensure you don't accidentally disconnect the "battery memory" or accidentally drop a wrench across the battery terminals. The Lexus battery is in the rear trunk so you won't need to clean the terminals like on a "normal" car. Make sure you re-install the bracket otherwise your battery will be sliding around all over the trunk. Also, don't disconnect the ODB connector that's connected to the "positive (+)" terminal. This Panasonic battery has an onboard ODB connector terminal, but it doesn't have fuses so you won't use it.Finally, the old used battery can be recycled for free at any Toyota/Lexus dealership, they shouldn't make a fuss about it (in Japan at least).
