洗濯機 4 I bought this docking station to improve my work-from-home setup. it works well with Windows and MacOS, hence 2 stars gained. However I bought this as Linux (Ubuntu specifically) support is also advertised on the DisplayLink website. For Context: DisplayLink is the Chip Vendor. The device itself just has the Dell branding. On the latest LTS versions of Ubuntu (20.04+) and newer Kernels (5.8+) the frame rate for external displays drops to about 1 frame per second, rending it basically unusable. After having spend far too many long evenings and learning about DKMS, custom kernels, evdi I am frustrated with this device. There are threads on the DisplayLink support forum with many may views and replies but the company does not seem to be very interested in fixing the issue. At the same time it still is advertised as Ubuntu being supported. Thus I think this is misleading.Unfortunately there seem to be very few USB3/USB-C docking stations in the market which are not based on DisplayLink
