Amazon カスタマー 5 I bought this in the faint hope that I could use it as a base to make Mexican chile verde. (pork stewed in green chili and tomatillo sauce. Living in Japan, it's almost impossible to get the ingredients to make this from scratch.This green sauce turned out to be the perfect solution! I just added garlic, onions, cumin, bay leaves, chicken stock, and stewed 2kg of pork shoulder cut into huge chunks for 3 hours and it is spot on! Serve with sour cream, pinto beans (also hard to find in Japan), steamed tortillas and salad... killer Mexican dinner!
