Private 3 Low cost and pretty good value.These are not powerful enough, even at full power to replace professional studio lighting, but for close up video or photography they offer a good supplement to background lighting in, say, a room with normal living lights, or to lift shadows for example. I have now tried them out for some "how to" videos I am making for someone in a very confined space and the work well for that.One gripe I have is that the barn doors get in the way of tilting the lights downwards. You will need to invert the light panels in the frame/cradle and then you can get a ~40 degree downward angle. If you want to light downwards from above, you'll need to remove the barn doors, to go to e.g ~60 degrees, as they are not powerful enough to make any impact when bounced from the ceiling.
