Alexis 5 Buying a good springform pan in Japan is a challenge, all of them have bad reviews! I went with this one and haven't regretted it yet. I made cheesecake and all kinds of summer cakes in it. The only time I found it leaked (maybe 2 drops of butter nothing major) was from the cheesecake 's butter Graham cracker crust. It was totally fine though. With the other cakes it didn't leak at all.No issues with rust so far, had it through the rainy season and summer. Once I even left it in the water unwashed for an entire night by accident but it was fine.I wish I could remove the bottom before cutting the cakes but it's almost impossible so I stopped taking the risk.
