Peter Jones 5 It always strikes me as odd, that someone will spend a large sum on a watch and then skimp on the watch winder. This skimping is either at the purchase end (the purchaser) or most often at the production end (the manufacturer). Pretty much every watch winder I looked at I would NOT want to put my watch into - regardless of price point. They were all too tacky looking and despite some being costly, really weren't high quality products like this.This product really is something else, let me tell you why. Firstly it came in a cardboard box - inside another cardboard box. The actual box for the winder is made from the thickest cardboard I have ever seen. Add to this the fact that the corners of this box were reinforced by hard plastic protectors and you can see that this company is serious about shipping you a product which will arrive safely. Open up the box and there is more protection inside, in addition to this the actual winder comes inside a bag type covers. The end result of all this attention to the art of packing is that the item arrives in perfect condition, and what and item! It is beautifully made and crafted from high quality bamboo and metal, it has a VERY luxurious appearance and feel. The design is simple and elegant and the motor makes NO noise. In addition there are four settings so you can tailor your watch's wind to suit. All in all an excellent product which I would most highly recommend.One more point. Not only does this have an AC adapter, but also takes batteries too, meaning that if you want to keep your beloved timepieces in a safe (and keep them wound), this product will meet that aim -most wont.
